Keith B. Stolte, M.D.
Dr. Stolte Has Performed over 15,000 cataract surgeries and over 1,800 lasik
procedures.
Dr. Stolte received his medical degree, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from
the University of Rome. Interned in internal medicine at Mountainside
Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey, and in general surgery at New Jersey
College of Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. A New Jersey native, Dr. Stolte
was accepted in Hahnemann University into a specialized 3 1/2 year program
in Ophthalmology, which included a rotation in Stanford University, Palo
Alto California, for Clinical Science and Puerto Rico for extended surgical
training.
He was personally trained in refractive surgery by Leo Boris, M.D. (the
American father of Radial Keratotomy) and Flava Fyodopov, M.D. the Russian
inventor of Radial Keratotomy.
In 1988 he performed the first micro surgery procedure in Peru and trained
their doctors in refractive surgery. He is a past associate professor at the
University of South Florida and today he has performed over 1800 Lasik
procedures.
He is currently a consultant for Rhein Medical for the newest instruments in
cataract surgery and holds two U.S. patents.
